 240 Credits beginning with the class of 2008

 10 Credits of American History
 10 Credits of World History
  5 Credits Economics
  5 Credits Government
Physical Ed
  10 Credits

 


University Admissions Requirements

              Rank in top 50% or ACT of 20 


English  4 years of College Prep 
Math  3 years (including Algebra 1,2,3,4 and Geometry) 
Science  3 years including one year of a lab science 
Social Studies  3 years 
Foreign Language 2 years of the same language 

             UNL requires one additional year of Math above Algebra 3-4
             UNK and UNO requires one additional year of an academic elective from any of the above areas.
            State and Community Colleges also recommend college prep classes,but may have less rigorous admission standards.

             

NCAA Eligibility

													
							
										Division I Core Courses:
										
16 Core Classes Required
*4 years of English
*3 years of mathematics (Algebra I or higher)
*2 years of natural/physical science (one must be a lab science)
*1 additional year of English, math, or science
*2 years of social studies
*4 years of additional core courses

The approved GISH courses are indicated in this handbook and can be found on the clearinghouse web site.<http://eligibilitycenter.org/ECWR2/NCAA_EMS/NCAA.html> under prospective student athletes.
 
The Clearinghouse will no longeraccept ACT scores posted on the high school transcripts. Test scores must besent directly from ACT.  Thestudent must request that scores be sent to 9999 from ACT.
