Dear Parents/Guardians of Grand Island Senior High Seniors,
Your child is ending a very important time at Grand Island Senior High as a graduating senior and approaching the beginning of an exciting journey, these times should be remembered and cherished forever. One of the best investment opportunities that Grand Island Senior High offers is a Senior ad in the 2011-20112 Purple and Gold Yearbook. A Senior Ad is created to remember and represent the individuality of each graduating student. We hope you will consider purchasing one.
Included with this letter is an intent form for your convenience. If you choose to purchase an ad for your graduating senior in the yearbook, please fill out the back of this form and return as soon as possible.
*New to 2011 is online ad purchase. Please visit www.gips.org/senior and click on the buy your yearbook now banner.
Please do not send pictures that are the only copy of that picture or chershed photos, the photos will not be scanned or returned.

Right now is a great time to think about your support for the Islanders in the upcoming school year by purchasing an advertisement in the award-winning Purple and Gold yearbook. Thanks to the Grand Island area advertisers, the yearbook will be available to our students at a cost much lower than the actual publisher’s price.
You can help keep these costs low for our students who normally couldn’t afford a yearbook. As costs for the yearbook rise, it becomes difficult to keep our prices affordable. You can help students preserve the memories of their high school career.
We are contacting our advertisers earlier, so that you may plan to include us in the coming year’s budget. Here is what we are offering. The attached sheet will show you the price offered for an ad in the 2011-2012 Purple and Gold, and an interest form, which you can return at your convenience.
The difficult economy has hit us all, and our advertising dollars have decreased over the last couple years. While we realize yearbook advertising is not an immediate return on your dollar, it does do a great deal to show your support of our students at Senior High and the programs which help give them a taste of the professional world. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact our adviser, Mrs. Marci Veach at the number listed below.
