Juniors: If you are a student interested in attending a Military Academy after your graduation in 2011, you should be starting the process now. The first step is to receive a nomination from a member of Congress. Applications to be nominated by U.S. Senator Ben Nelson are available from your counselor. You will need a high ACT score, biographical materials, and letters of recommendation. A nomination is required before an appointment can be offered by any of the Academy branches. The Naval Academy is in Annapolis, Maryland, the Air Force Academy is in Colorado Springs, the Marine Academy is in Kings Point, New York, and the Army Academy is in West Point, New York. You should apply spring of your junior year if you are interested in an appointment to an Academy.

School Program-is going to be offered to all GISH students each Tuesday
