Transition program students host YMCA water aerobics classmates for tea

Elegance and education came together Monday morning when women from the 8 a.m. YMCA water aerobics class gathered at the Indra House for morning tea.

Nobody was more elegant than hostesses Amy Herrell of St. Libory and Lydia Stahla of Grand Island, who wore evening gowns.

Herrell and Stahla, students in the Grand Island public schools’ transition program, were by far the youngest people at the tea.

Stahla, who complemented her gown with a tiara, served as maitre d’, greeting guests at the front door, then directing them to a side room to wait until they were escorted to the downstairs dining area.  Full Story
