GRAND ISLAND —
The first three tentative bus routes for the Grand Island school system have been mapped out.

Bus service is a new endeavor for the Grand Island public schools, beginning with this school year.

The routes are all tentative because school officials do not know how many students will be picked up at each spot and whether adjustments will need to be made as the school year progresses.

District officials have also talked about an elementary school route, but one has not yet been established.

The district will also run two middle school extracurricular bus routes as extracurricular activities get started at the middle schools.  Full Story
