Students competing in Mathcounts competition

Students from Walnut and Westridge middle schools will compete in the middle school Mathcounts competition Feb. 14 at the University of Nebraska-Kearney.


The Nebraska Society of Professional Engineers' Midstate Chapter sponsors the competition. Winners advance to state competition.

Students competing as a team for Walnut are Donald Nabity, Kuulei Hose, Preston Fegley and Susanna Zach. Students competing as individuals for Walnut are Kyle Ward, Austin Koehler, Josh Mathews and Sarah Quezada.  Full Story
