Springston defines top school administrator as resource provider

Building relationships based on trust was a recurring theme when Valley Center (Kan.) Superintendent Scott Springston was interviewed Tuesday night by the Grand Island school board.

Springston is the second of four finalists to be interviewed to be the next superintendent of the Grand Island Public Schools.

He said that as superintendent he tries to lead by example. He said he does not want to micromanage people in the school district, saying his goal is not to become a principal at a school.  Full Story
