Students dress wacky, spend time with books on Dr. Seuss’ birthday

Reading should be fun any time, anywhere.

But reading a book always takes on a little extra joy on the birthday of Dr. Seuss, the children’s book author who has been entertaining kids – and adults – for generations.

Seuss’s birthday is celebrated each March 2nd with Read Across America Day, which becomes a good reason to for teachers and kids in schools across the country to reacquaint themselves with such classic tales as “The Cat In the Hat” and “Green Eggs and Ham.”  Full Story
