Three incumbents and one newcomer will take their oath of offices during Thursday night’s Grand Island school board meeting.

Incumbents Heidi Vahle, Roger Harms and Terry Brown will take their oaths of office, along with Lynne Werner, who was elected for the first time this past November.

After seeing those four people sworn into office, the board will be asked to choose its president and vice president for 2009.

It also will be asked to take action on two items that were discussed extensively during its December meeting.  Full Story
