Passing period at GISH is music to students' ears

There is more than just students in the hallways this year at Grand Island Senior High.

Interim Principal Doug Jensen has moved forward with the idea of having music play over the sound system during passing periods.

"We’ve discussed it for a long time, and it has been a goal of mine to do this in the building for a long time," Jensen said. "I think kids just do better when something is happening in the passing time."  Full Story
