Northwest, GISH students, UNL choir join for annual With One Voice concert

The Men of Northwest Men’s Ensemble left moms and dads alike wiping away tears at this year’s With One Voice concert.

In beautiful harmonies backing up soloist Sam Schneider, the men sang “Cinderella,” a song that Northwest Choir Director David Sackschewsky said was dedicated to every daddy of a little girl and every woman who used to be daddy’s little girl.

The song detailed a father busy with work who finally gives in to dancing with his little princess. She is imagining her practice dance before going to the ball at the castle.

But the clock strikes midnight and the little girl is gone too soon.  Full Story
