Middle School Choral Clinic gives students 'big choir experience'

Adrian Rodriguez stepped on stage to try out for a solo during this year's Middle School Choral Clinic because his friends encouraged him to do so.

He ended up beating out a couple dozen other boys to sing a line of "Guardians of a Dream."

The 13-year-old tenor from Walnut said he was a little nervous as he stood in front of 179 other seventh and eighth graders and sang the part several times.

The song was one of five the group prepared for a free concert Monday night.  Full Story
