Grand Island Public Schools staff members Holee Hanke and Julie Schlachter came back from a national middle school conference determined to promote the health benefits of exercise.

The result is a 5-kilometer fun run/walk to begin at 8:30 a.m. May 21 at Stuhr Museum.

Grand Island Public School staff members and students alike are being encouraged to participate in the fun run/walk, which is also open to the general public.  Full Story
