Actors on both stages at Grand Island Senior High can now be seen in a true light.

The improved view is courtesy of a lighting project that brought new stage lights to Grand Island Senior High last September, to Walnut Middle School last October and now to Senior High's Little Theater.

Drama teacher Greg Ulmer said all three auditoriums were to receive their lights during the 2008-09 school year, but an illness delayed the final installation in the Little Theater until this year.

One of the things that Ulmer likes about the project is that all three systems are the same. As a result, if any light or portion of one system fails, it can easily be replaced by a light or spare part from another system.  Full Story
