Kindergarten registration set for April 9

Grand Island Public Schools kindergarten registration for the 2009-2010 school year will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 9.

Children who will be 5 years old by Oct. 15 are eligible to register at designated schools.

If parents are uncertain which school their child will attend, they may call the Grand Island Public Schools Kneale Administration Building at 385-5900.

Parents are asked to bring to registration their child’s birth certificate from the state. The names and birthdates of all brothers and sisters and the name and address of someone other than parents to contact in case of emergency are also required.  Full Story
