Joel says staff changes in place for 2008-09

GRAND ISLAND —
Grand Island Superintendent Steve Joel believes that most of the administrative staff changes for the 2008-09 school year have been set.

Changes that have previously been announced include having Kris Burling, who previously had been Howard Elementary principal, become the new director of the English language learner program for the school district.

Burling is replacing Kerri Nazarenus, who is becoming a superintendent for a school district in Iowa.

It also has been previously announced that Walnut Assistant Principal Rod Foley will become the new principal at Walnut Middle School. He replaces Vikki Deuel, who is retiring.  Full Story
