"Sunshine, Storms and Stories: A Nebraska Tall Tale" is this year's high ability learner play, which will be performed at 7 p.m. March 4 in the Grand Island Senior High auditorium.

A video of the live stage performance will be shown at 7 p.m. April 15 at the Grand Theatre downtown.

Admission to the live stage performance is a can of food, which will be donated to the Grand Island Community Food Pantry at the Salvation Army, according to Madison Enck, a Shoemaker Elementary fifth-grader, one of the members of the marketing committee for the play.

There is no charge for the video show at the Grand Theatre, according to Briana Cleveland, a Howard Elementary fifth-grader who is also a member of the marketing committee.  Full Story
