GISH soccer visits Howard Elementary

Grand Island Senior High soccer players visited Howard Elementary today to talk about being a successful student-athlete.

“It was nice for those guys to come and take time out of their schedule,” fifth grade teacher Rob Micek said. “To tell our kids what it takes to be successful and be young role models is good for our students.”

Head Coach Jeremy Jensen, accompanied by Logan Mendez, Taylor Valderaz and Lucas Venegas, visited several classrooms to share their experiences.  Full Story
