GISH junior is always on the move

Riley Racicky, a junior at Grand Island Senior High, says he loves the outdoors, hunting, staying busy and sports.
His love of sports is evident from the fact that he is a three-sport athlete. He’s now playing point guard on Senior High’s JV team. As a sophomore, he was a catcher on the Islanders’ JV baseball team. Last fall, he was the starting quarterback on the JV football team and he suited up as a reserve for varsity football.
“I just love playing,” said Racicky. He takes seriously admonishments from his coaches that the student who doesn’t stay busy and has too much time on his hands is likely to get into trouble.
