Grand Island Senior High is one of the newest vendors at Husker Harvest Days and is serving food from its booth, the Hula Hut, located between Sixth and Seventh streets on Central Avenue.

"Fonner Park had this stand previous to us, and they were nice enough to let us have this stand for our athletic booster club," booster club member Laura Norvell said. "We are very excited that they are giving us the opportunity to raise money for our kids."

The booster club raises money for the athletic programs at Senior High such as football, basketball, golf, cheerleading, volleyball and dance. The boosters help with equipment, overnight stays and wish-list items that coaches come up with at the end of the year.  Full Story
