GIPS Science Fair set for Thursday

Published Tuesday, March 31, 2009 9:47 PM CDT The Grand Island Public Schools Science Fair will debut Thursday for students in third grade through seventh grade.

The first-ever districtwide Science Fair is set for 2:45 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Grand Island Senior High, said Sue Burch, director of high ability learners and technology for the Grand Island Public Schools.

An estimated 100 students will participate in the Science Fair.

Students’ experiments and inventions will be set up in the north cafeteria at 2:45 p.m., ready to be shared with judges and then later with students and parents. Full Story
