G.I. school board lays out goals for its new look

That three-word phrase sums up the heart of what Grand Island school board members and administrators discussed during a January board retreat.

But those three words led to a long list of school board goals (see accompanying article) and it caused Superintendent Steve Joel and board President Lynn Cronk to brainstorm additional ideas that could radically alter the school district’s look.
