G.I. elementary schools receive bowling grants

Three Grand Island public elementary schools have received bowling equipment through the Grand Island Education Foundation and a grant from the Bowling Foundation.

The grant will provide mobile bowling kits for Dodge, Gates and Howard elementary schools.

Each bowling kit contains six sets of carpeted bowling lanes, six weighted rubberized bowling balls, six sets of rubberized pins, six carrying bags, and an instructor’s manual. The value of each kit is $1,300.  Full Story
