Grand Island, Nebraska: Every Student, Every Day, A Success!
Posted on January 7, 2012
Learning a dance routine in two days can make you tired, but it's fun anyway.
That seemed to be the consensus at the Grand Island Senior High Show Choir Camp for third- through eighth-graders. The camp started Saturday morning and will culminate with the Show Choir Premier Night at 7 Sunday night, featuring the young students who attend the camp, as well as performances by Sweet Revelation, Future Image and Ultimate Image. The performance will be in the Senior High auditorium.
"It's really tiring," said 10-year-old Elise Vahle, adding that she loved learning the dances, but by mid-afternoon, she needed to sit and rest for a while.
The seventh- and eighth-grade students also were dragging a little as they again restarted their dance routine about 2:30 p.m. Camp was over for the day at 4, but they start again this afternoon. Full Story
