Named Outstanding Teacher of the Year while working in the Kearney Public Schools system.

Named one of the Top 35 Professionals Under 35 by the Grand Island Area Chamber of Commerce in 2009.

Hired as assistant principal at Walnut Middle School, a building with 840 students, 75 teachers and many more support staff, when he was just 27 years old.  Full Story
