Engleman Elementary wins library reading award

Winning the Grand Island City Library's reading trophy is always a good thing.

Winning the year the Nebraska State Fair is coming to town is even better.

A total of 230 Engleman Elementary student - 80 percent of the school enrollment - read at least 10 library books this past summer. That was enough for Engleman Elementary to be awarded the traveling reading trophy on Monday, the fourth time the school has received that award.  Full Story
