District adds bus route for Walnut students

GRAND ISLAND —
Grand Island Public Schools has started its fifth and final bus route for getting students to and from school.
The final bus route is called Walnut Middle School Schedule No. 2 to
distinguish it from another route that carries students to Walnut
Middle School and yet another route that transports a combination of
Walnut and Grand Island Senior High students.
The two remaining bus routes are for Barr Middle School and a mixture of grade school and Westridge Middle School students.
