All goes smoothly on inaugural bus rides to school

GRAND ISLAND —
Three brand-new school bus routes ran smoothly Wednesday as the Grand Island public schools began their first-ever transportation service.

Senior High Principal Kent Mann used his own vehicle to follow the bus that ran to Senior High.

That bus began its route at the Skagway South parking lot and had stops at the Super Bowl parking lot, Lions Club Park, Old Walnut parking lot and Broadwell Park.

Students boarded the bus at all those stops except Broadwell Park.  Full Story
