A week of bonding for show choir

Laughter and shouting punctuated the air of Grand Island Senior High School's empty halls Wednesday afternoon as members of the varsity show choir Ultimate Image engaged in an intense dodgeball battle.

Fifty-three high school students faced off in the vocal music room armed with small Nerf balls. On the signal of Jeff Vyhlidal, vocal music director, two teams of teens began throwing the balls at each other.

Vyhlidal said the game helped break up the day and add some fun to the show choir camp, which began on Monday and ends today.  Full Story
