5 GISH alumni inducted into Hall of Honor

Thousands of Grand Island Senior High graduates have gone on to have successful careers.

But the Senior High Hall of Honor is reserved for alumni who have not only been successful, but whose lives have benefitted society, said Traci Skalberg, executive director of the Grand Island Education Foundation, on Friday morning.

Skalberg made her comments just before five more alumni got to either see or hang their own plaques in the Hall of Honor.


Friday’s inductees made up a diverse group of people inducted for civic and government service and contributions to the fine arts, the law, the sciences and the visual arts.  Full Story
