Winter Royalty selected at G.I. Senior High School
The 2008 Grand Island Senior High School Winter Royalty king and queen are seniors Michael Hanover and Suzanne Higgins. They were chosen by a vote of the Senior Class and were crowned at the Winter Ball Dance on Feb. 16.
The other Winter Royalty king candidates, as nominated by the Senior Class, were Derek Beisner, Derek Huebner, and Jimmy Reed. The other queen candidates were Viri Almanza, Brittney Eilts, and Vanessa Gauthier.
