West Lawn Elementary School hosting event to learn about continents
West Lawn Elementary School students will participate in "Destination North America" from 3:05 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, at the school as part of their "World Class Learning" theme this year to learn about different continents.
Students will participate in break-out sessions in music/movement, drama/story telling, labs/models, games/humor, drawing/artwork, and demonstrations/projects, Principal Jane Gloor said.
"The break-out sessions enhance our school theme of traveling to different continents and learning about the continents," she said.
