Walnut Middle School schedules vocal music concerts
Walnut Middle School students will present vocal music concerts on May 10 and May 13, Director Kay Lyons said.
The seventh-grade vocal music concerts are scheduled for Tuesday, May 10. A 2:20 p.m. May 10 concert will be presented for Walnut students and staff, and the concert will also be offered at 7 p.m. May 10 for the public. The seventh-grade chorus, selected small groups, and seventh-grade show choir singing a “Top 40” musical review will perform.
The eighth-grade “Memories Show” concerts will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 13, for students and staff and at 7 p.m. May 13 for the public. The eighth-grade chorus, selected small groups, soloists, and eighth-grade show choir will perform, with special visits from Shrek and Fiona.
Each concert will last approximately one hour. There is no admission charge for the concerts. Hannah Jorgensen is the accompanist for the vocal music groups.
