Vocal music concert scheduled at Walnut
Walnut Middle School's sixth-graders will present their vocal music concert beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, in the school's auditorium at 1600 N. Custer Ave.
The concert will feature the sixth-grade chorus, sixth-grade choir, and selected soloists, dancers, and small groups, said vocal music teacher Kay Lyons, who directs the groups.
The program will include the sixth-grade choir performing "Disney SPECTACULAR," which is a revue of 21 Disney classics featuring special narrators, singing, dancing, Snow White, Prince Charming, the Seven Dwarfs, and more.
There will also be a 9:50 a.m. performance on Tuesday, April 7, for sixth-graders, faculty, and family and friends who cannot attend the evening performance.
The public is welcome to attend the concerts, and there is no admission charge. Cheryl Twiestmeyer is the accompanist.
