Students learn to take stand against racism

Every day they attend school, Wasmer Elementary students are part of a multi-ethnic community.

Such students may even take it for granted that they are in classrooms with people from all kinds of ethnic backgrounds and sometimes even different countries.

But not everyone in the world takes such circumstances for granted and Wasmer students are just a few generations removed from a period when racism was a much more serious problem in the United States.  Full Story
