Shoemaker Elementary School hosting Doughnuts with Dads event
Shoemaker Elementary School students will participate in "Doughnuts with Dads" from 7:15 a.m. to 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, in the school's gym at 4160 Old Potash Highway.
The event is a celebration of male role models in students' lives and is a way to bring students and families together at school for breakfast, Principal Toni Palmer said.
Shoemaker's Parent Teacher Organization is sponsoring the event. The school is also celebrating Red Ribbon Week and will invite the parents and guests to join students in a Red Ribbon Week chant during morning announcements.
