Nominations accepted for G.I. Senior High School Hall of Honor
Nominations are being accepted for the Grand Island Senior High School Hall of Honor, said Grand Island Education Foundation Executive Director Traci Skalberg.
The Hall of Honor, started in 1983, recognizes Grand Island Senior High School alumni who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the betterment of society. Nominees must have graduated more than 20 years ago from the high school.
Nomination forms are available at the Kneale Administration Building, 123 S. Webb Road; Grand Island Senior High School principal's office, 2124 N. Lafayette Ave.; and from the Grand Island Education Foundation's website at www.gips.org/foundation/hall-of-honor. Nomination forms must be returned by Feb. 16, 2011, to be considered for the 2011 round. The next Hall of Honor celebration will occur in October 2011.
