Newell Elementary School students will use 'money machine' for fund-raising reward
Approximately 50 Newell Elementary School students will have the opportunity to grab as many dollar bills as they can in 45 seconds inside a "money machine" at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, Principal Brad Wolfe said.
The event is a reward for students who sold the most fund-raising items for the school as a Newell PTA project, he said. The school is located at 2700 W. 13th St.
The "money machine" is a container in which people stand that is filled with dollar bills. However, air is blown into the container, making it harder to catch the dollar bills, Wolfe said.
