Knickrehm Elementary School students raise more than $900 for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Knickrehm Elementary School students raised more than $900 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Nebraska through a Pennies for Patients coin drive in late February and early March, Principal Andrew Rinaldi said.

Students who brought in money for donations were allowed to wear a hat to school for one day, he said. The winning class received a pizza party, and the top three classes received medals.
