Jefferson Elementary School offers Family Literacy Night
Jefferson Elementary School is sponsoring a Family Literacy Night from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 29, at the Grand Island Public Library at 211 N. Washington St., Principal Jeanna Fiala said.
The purpose of the event is to promote family literacy for Jefferson's students and their families, she said.
"Students and their families will have the opportunity to navigate through 13 learning centers and will end the evening with cookies and a new book for each student," Fiala said.
