Grand Island Senior High School students raise $1,024 for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Grand Island Senior High School students raised $1,024.39 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Nebraska through a three-week Pennies for Patients coin drive.

Senior Hannah Huston and sophomore Rachel Huston organized the fund drive.
Homerooms led by these teachers were class fund-raising champions:
*Ninth grade: Amy Voss and Kevin Watson, $67.05.
*Tenth grade: Jeanne Cronin, $116.20.
*11th grade: Charles Hamner, $60.91.
*12th grade: Lance Nelson, $111.84.
