GISH 2009 Alumni Directory project begins
Grand Island Senior High School alumni will be contacted by mail
starting Jan. 19 to provide address and biographical information for
the 2009 Grand Island Senior High School Alumni Directory.
Bernard
C. Harris Publishing Co. of Norfolk, Va., will be producing the
directory, which will be published in February 2009. The directory will
feature personal and professional information about graduates and will
also include class lists of Grand Island Senior High School graduates
from 1883 through 2008.
To ensure proper and accurate
directory listings, high school alumni are asked to contact Harris
Publishing at a toll-free phone number, (888) 866-4268, beginning Jan.
19 to provide current details such as full name, address, phone number,
e-mail address, and professional information.
When Grand Island
Senior High School alumni contact Harris Publishing to provide address
and biographical information, they will have the opportunity to
purchase the directory. The cost per directory is $69.99 for a
paperback version or $89.99 for a hardbound version or CD-ROM.
Book/CD-ROM combinations are also available. There is also a shipping
and handling charge per directory. Directories must be purchased in
advance and will not be available for sale through Harris Publishing
after publication.
Updating contact information about Grand
Island Senior High School graduates is important so that alumni can be
contacted for class reunions and can receive alumni news, said Traci
Skalberg, director of the Grand Island Education Foundation. The
Education Foundation works with Grand Island Senior High School staff
members in coordinating assistance for alumni for events such as class
reunions.
