G.I. Senior High School Student Council prepares holiday food baskets
Grand Island Senior High School Student Council members will be preparing 40 holiday feast baskets for families in need starting at 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at the school, Principal Kent Mann said.
Baskets will be filled with turkeys and all the trimmings for a holiday feast and then delivered to each elementary school and middle school in the district.
Selected elementary and middle school students and their families will receive the baskets.
The baskets will be delivered to the schools early in the afternoon on Dec. 19, Mann said.
