G.I. Senior High School named grand champion at show choir competition
Grand Island Senior High School's Ultimate Image Show Choir was named grand champion at the Mitchell (South Dakota) Show Choir Classic on March 20, said Adam Lambert, director of choirs at the high school.
Ultimate Image also received the Outstanding Band, Best Choreography, Best Male Vocalist (Seth Ulmer), and Best Vocals awards at the competition at the Corn Palace in Mitchell. This was the group's final competition this school year.
All three Grand Island Senior High show choirs will give their final performances of the year at the school's annual Show Choir Cabaret in the high school's auditorium at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 29, Lambert said.
