G.I. Senior High School hosting fall sports pep rally
Grand Island Senior High School will host a fall sports pep rally at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 23, at Memorial Stadium.
Minneapolis comedian Richie Holiday will kick off this free event at 7 p.m. Aug. 23. He'll be followed by performances from the band, cheerleaders, and Islandaires; games and class competitions; cheer practice; and season overviews from fall head coaches.
The entire community is invited to join the Islanders as they celebrate the start of a new season. Memorial Stadium is located just south of Grand Island Senior High School, 2124 N. Lafayette Ave.
