G.I. Public Schools secondary students have artwork displayed at Stuhr Museum

Artwork by secondary students from the Grand Island Public Schools is part of the Hall County Student Art Show displayed at the Stuhr Museum until May 4.

Students from Barr, Walnut, and Westridge Middle Schools and Grand Island Senior High School have pieces displayed at the show at the Stuhr Museum at 3133 W. Highway 34, said Jerome Dubas, an art teacher at Walnut Middle School.

Each year, middle schools and high schools in Hall County choose the best work produced by their students and coordinate with Stuhr Museum to be part of this show. For many young artists, this is the first time their work will be displayed in a professional space.

The artwork is displayed in the Stuhr Building, Cronin Hall, and Lacy Hall.

Interested people may contact the museum at (308) 385-5316 or log onto stuhrmuseum.org for some examples of this show.
