G.I. Education Foundation plans 'ABCs of Estate Planning' seminar

Do you have a plan for the distribution of your assets upon death? If you don't, the state of Nebraska does. Who will take care of your healthcare if you are unable to do this? Who will take care of your affairs if you cannot? Resolve to answer these and other estate planning questions at the upcoming "ABCs of Estate Planning" seminar.

The Grand Island Education Foundation will host the "ABCs of Estate Planning" seminar at 7 p.m. Monday, June 2, at the Challenge Center in the Grand Island Public Schools Administration Building, 123 S. Webb Road.

Presenters will be Cathleen H. Allen, attorney, Leininger/Smith Law Firm; Lynne Werner, attorney and trust officer, Platte Valley State Bank and Trust Company; and Curtis Griess, CPA, McDermott and Miller CPAs.  The presenters will answer estate questions and discuss topics such as planning a will, probate, power of attorney, trusts, charitable planning strategies, and estate taxes.  This seminar is free and open to the public.
