Engleman Elementary School hosting 'Write Night' for students

Engleman Elementary School is hosting its second annual "Write Night" from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, in the school's gym at 1812 Mansfield Road.

The theme this year will be "Twas the Christmas Write Night," said Katie Bohling, a kindergarten teacher at Engleman.

Students and their families are encouraged to come dressed in their slippers and pajamas. Guests will receive a traditional Christmas treat of milk and cookies.
A special guest from the North Pole will visit that evening, Bohling said. He will greet students and their families and will be available for family photos taken by Engleman parent Jeanie Harris.

"We are hoping this will be a fun-filled, family event that will give families the opportunity to spend an evening together, to write together as a family, and to create new family memories that will be remembered and shared for many years to come," Bohling said.
