Dodge Elementary School students conduct food drive for Salvation Army Food Pantry

Dodge Elementary School students have collected almost 2,100 food items to donate to the Salvation Army's Food Pantry.

The food drive concludes Nov. 23. As of Nov. 22, students had gathered 2,080 food items for the Food Pantry, P.E. Teacher Ryan Hansen said.

The classroom that collects the most food items will receive an extra hour of physical education with Hansen from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 23. Representatives from the Salvation Army will pick up the items at Dodge Elementary School, 641 S. Oak St., at 3 p.m. Nov. 23.
