Dodge Elementary School hosting author Julia Cook

Children's book author Julia Cook of Fremont will work with Dodge Elementary School students on Thursday, Nov. 11, Principal Stephanie Schulte said.

Cook will lead assemblies at 8:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. Nov. 11, then lead breakout sessions for students by grade from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 11. The author will talk to Dodge staff at a meeting starting at 3:20 p.m. Nov. 11.

Cook lives with her husband and three children in Fremont. She has a master's degree in elementary school counseling and has worked as a teacher and elementary school counselor.
